A leading educational institution in British Columbia seeks a Secretary-Treasurer / CFO to join their senior leadership team. Located in the heart of the Fraser Valley, the Abbotsford School District has 46 schools attended by over 20,000 students across elementary, middle, and secondary levels. As the largest employer in the city, the district has an operating budget of approximately $250 million and employs over 2,500 full and part-time teaching and support staff who are dedicated to helping students succeed.

Reporting to the Superintendent / CEO, the Secretary-Treasurer / CFO is an essential member of the senior leadership team. This role is responsible for:
The position also acts as the corporate officer to the Board of Education, attending all board meetings and supporting governance processes. The Secretary-Treasurer / CFO plays a key role in developing and executing the Board’s strategic plan.
The salary range for this role is between $217,000 to $241,000, plus benefits.
