Director Corporate Finance and FPA - Montreal or Toronto

Director Corporate Finance & FPA - large financial institution

$200-400K, major benefits, downtown, remote 100%

Montreal or Toronto

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Company’s M&A strategy, including managing the acquisition pipeline, performing valuations, negotiating and closing transactions;
  • Support all aspects of transaction execution including researching target companies, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, integration planning;
  • Participate in the formulation of the Company’s strategic long-range planning process, develop clearly-defined milestones, monitor progress, and provide data-driven, actionable recommendations to achieve objectives;
  • Develop financial models and tools to evaluate the Company’s operational performance and organizational effectiveness in strategic areas;
  • Evaluate and validate the Company’s major capital projects;
  • Other corporate finance projects.

Qualifications:

  • CPA, CFA or MBA, financial sector a must;
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience;
  • Experience in a large consulting firm like BCG;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in French and in English;
  • Experience in financial sector;
  • Display integrity, objectivity, professional competence, confidentiality, and professional behavior.
