Job description

Reports to : District Sales Manager - Eastern Region

Summary : This position is responsible for uncovering and securing new opportunities and business in the Eastern Region.

Responsibilities :

  1. Identify top territory accounts and assess their revenue potential.
  2. Establish and achieve an annual sales budget through account development.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and develop new target accounts.
  4. Analyze customer needs and develop account management plans.
  5. Conduct research on applications and develop viable business plans to support them.
  6. Segment applications versus clientele.
  7. Communicate customer feedback and requirements to internal departments.
  8. Manage customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  9. Complete all sales administration tasks timely.

Minimum Requirements :

  1. Technical degree or higher in business engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, or mechatronics preferred.
  2. Fluent in English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, SharePoint, Business Object.
  4. At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  5. Specific knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, electrical, or electronics.
  6. Understanding of customer and market structures within industry segments and clusters.
