Job description

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks:

  1. Identify clients' financial goals and objectives
  2. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  3. Train staff
  4. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls
  5. Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  6. Develop financial plans for clients
  7. Prepare reports and audit findings
  8. Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning
  9. Prepare financial statements and reports
  10. Arrange for the sale of financial products and investments
  11. Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act, or other statutory requirements
  12. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  13. Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation
  14. Analyze financial documents and reports
  15. Examine accounting records
  16. Provide financial, business, and tax advice
  17. Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
  18. Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  19. Oversee payroll administration
