As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing, developing, and maintaining our corporate ebusiness and banking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, test, debug, maintain, document, and deploy SQL statements, scripts, PL/SQL blocks, triggers, views, BULK Collections, and stored procedures.
- Design and build database components for our growing banking applications.
- Write technical specifications and prepare/test scripts, analyzing results.
- Prepare SQL Loader scripts and investigate/fix bugs, data issues, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and support operations.
- Collaborate with the development team to provide database components.
- Respond quickly to questions regarding application functionality and features.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Oracle/SQL Server databases and PL/SQL.
- Possess good knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL stored procedures development.
- Support analysis, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Dynamic Fund systems enhancements.
- Stay technically proficient in programming languages and processes relevant to our marketplace.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases.
- 2-3 years of Data Modeling (OLTP/OLAP).
- Experience with development lifecycle and object-oriented methodologies.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Application performance tuning experience.
- Familiarity with Unix Shell Script.
- Ability to document designs and implementations.
- Knowledge of asset management/financial data domain is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment.
- Experience with formal software development and testing processes.
- Oracle DBA experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
