Job Description

Purpose of the Position: This mission-driven, student-centered role is crucial for delivering a high-quality student experience while achieving operational goals and leading the campus through strategic transformation. As the senior leader, the Director is responsible for building high-performing teams, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting student success. The Campus Director will lead with empathy, urgency, and accountability, aligning with institutional goals for persistence, retention, and program outcomes. This role reports directly to Regional and Executive leadership and oversees all non-academic campus operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead campus staffing, development, and retention of motivated, high-performing teams.
  2. Oversee daily campus operations ensuring efficiency, compliance, and readiness to support students and faculty.
  3. Drive enrollment, retention, and persistence goals in partnership with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Persistence teams.
  4. Support the student lifecycle from initial contact through graduation by fostering a culture of proactive service and accountability.
  5. Manage campus budget and financial performance, overseeing key operating costs and collaborating with finance and HR.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, maintaining strong readiness practices in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with academic and national leadership to implement initiatives, support faculty needs, and align local efforts with national strategy.
  8. Maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming campus environment supporting Unitek’s hybrid return-to-campus model.
  9. Promote cross-functional collaboration and serve as the liaison between campus staff and regional/national support teams.
  10. Champion student outcomes and satisfaction by tracking KPIs and implementing continuous improvements.
  11. Model leadership, professionalism, and service, reinforcing Unitek’s values in interactions with staff, students, and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Education, or a related field (Required).
  • Master’s degree preferred in Business, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role in a multi-function operational or campus environment.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to balance urgency with empathy in a fast-paced, student-focused culture.
  • Familiarity with higher education or allied health regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, change management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Commitment to educational access, student success, and community impact.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Compensation: Pay range is $108,000 - $127,000, depending on experience and campus location.
