Position Summary

The Director of Marketing - International , plays a pivotal role in shaping Seneca’s marketing strategy in global and onshore markets. As a dynamic and strategic thinker, you’ll be responsible for driving international student marketing, recruitment and conversion strategies as well as enhancing global brand equity. You’ll also develop international marketing strategies for a diverse range of cross-institutional initiatives and partnerships.

What You’ll Do in This Role

  • Drive enrolment: Develop strategic marketing, recruitment and conversion strategies that optimize enrolment funnel management
  • Evolve our brand: Build brand awareness and strength in global and onshore markets and ensure brand consistency at every touchpoint
  • Strategize and innovate: Craft integrated marketing strategies for global and nuanced target audiences that are data-driven, segmented and multi-channel
  • Lead and inspire: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of marketing experts and inspire brand advocacy and ambassadors across teams
  • Collaborate: Create and cultivate strong relationships with internal subject matter experts and external stakeholders to foster strategic alignment and champion the brand

  • Has a proven track record of leading multi-channel strategies, globally, that serve the big picture experience and drive growth
  • Operates at different levels – from 10,000 feet strategic to immersed in the details
  • Is inventive, always looking at what’s possible, pushing for new and innovative ways to enhance and evolve our international marketing strategies
  • Works extremely well with people and is an excellent communicator

  • You have a degree in marketing or a similar field of study, or a combination of education, training and experience
  • You’ve been leading international marketing strategy for years – ideally, 8+ and have experience with funnel management and conversion to drive targets
  • You’re an experienced leader with a commitment to team development and mentorship
