The Forensics Server Administrator is a key technical resource responsible for managing various Forensics and eDiscovery technologies across production, test, and development environments. This role is part of a nationwide team focused on ongoing support and new deployments of KPMG’s IT infrastructure.

In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues, analyze performance bottlenecks, recommend optimizations, and support internal users, external clients, and applications, working closely with other IT staff.

What You Will Do

1. Manage and support infrastructure consisting of 200+ servers and SANs.
2. Proactively identify system resource bottlenecks using performance tools and scripts.
3. Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues related to servers and applications.
4. Document server architecture, schemas, and procedures.
5. Implement and maintain development, QA, and test environments.
6. Maintain security frameworks in line with company and client requirements.
7. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
8. Support multiple projects and ensure proper documentation.
9. Collaborate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors; provide on-call support.

What You Bring To The Role

1. Experience with Relativity, Nuix, and Forensics software.
2. College diploma or university degree in computer science or relevant experience.
3. Minimum 4 years of progressive enterprise experience.
4. Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, and related Microsoft technologies.
5. Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure.
6. Experience configuring load balancing and high availability.
7. Knowledge of Citrix, Palo Alto firewalls, backup, archiving, and disaster recovery technologies.
8. Scripting skills in PowerShell, VBScript, etc.
9. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
10. Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure.
11. Certifications such as MCSE and ITIL V3 Foundations are desirable.
12. Proficiency in English at a business level.
