Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and strategically minded sales professional to serve as an Account Manager for Bedsonline / The Luxurist. You will focus on developing and expanding your Travel Agency portfolio and strengthening commercial relationships with trade partners in your designated region. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales and customer service skills, along with the commercial acumen to drive growth in TTV, margins, and room nights. You will collaborate with Account Directors, Managers, Sales Executives, and other internal teams to meet targets and have a solid understanding of the industry, with an eye toward acquisition opportunities.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Analyze client productivity to identify new opportunities for growth in TTV, OM, and revenue to exceed targets.
  • Drive client acquisition activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key travel agency partners.
  • Coordinate with sales and other internal teams to align strategies.
  • Negotiate, implement, and monitor the performance of commercial agreements.
  • Conduct on-site sales calls with travel agency partners, including overnight stays when necessary.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with assigned clients while achieving sales targets.
  • Continuously analyze client performance to increase Bedsonline sales and prevent churn.
  • Identify new business opportunities by introducing new products, destinations, and markets, and promoting HBX’s key lines.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio to increase sales and profitability proactively.
Requirements
  • Experience in the Travel Industry.
  • Retail Account Management experience managing a portfolio of travel agencies within North America.
  • Own a car, as face-to-face meetings within a set region are required.
  • Experience as a Business Development Manager (BDM) managing client portfolios to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Located in Ontario, Canada, preferred.
  • French language skills are a plus but not essential.
  • Valid passport required.

  • Willing to travel up to 70%, with own transportation essential.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Tableau advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish and additional languages are beneficial.
  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the USA.
  • Preferred locations: Toronto, Ontario, covering Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, and parts of the US such as Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin.
