We are actively recruiting a Sales Representative (Hospital Sales Representative - Outside Sales) on behalf of our international client, a global leader in pharmaceutical laboratories specializing in injectable products. This position aims to effectively drive the company’s growth in the competitive pharmaceutical market.
Location and Travel :
- 100% remote, with a focus on the province of Ontario (Candidate must be located in East Ontario)
- Travel is expected (1-2 administrative days to start with).
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospital clients, hospitals, and purchasing groups, ensuring their needs are met and promoting the company’s injectable products.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers, purchasing groups, and partners.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration within hospitals.
- Travel regularly to visit hospitals across Ontario to foster relationships and close sales.
- Define growth strategies for products and potential markets.
- Analyze market trends to proactively target opportunities.
- Present product information clearly and persuasively to hospital staff and decision-makers.
- Document and prepare quotes for purchasing groups.
- Provide product information to customers.
- Participate in budget planning.
- Coordinate marketing efforts for products (promotional materials, etc.).
- Represent the company at professional meetings.
- Support subsidiary implementation and other related tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant diploma in administration, sales, or marketing (university degree and/or pertinent experience).
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets with excellent negotiation skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer account management or related roles.
- Proactive in identifying new business opportunities within the hospital market.
- Ability to work independently and results-oriented.
- 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
- Strong network within the healthcare sector, especially hospitals.
- Familiarity with injectable and generic pharmaceutical products.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dynamic, customer-service oriented.
- Autonomous with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in standard software (e.g., Word, Excel).
