Position Overview:

We are seeking a Project Quality Engineer to oversee and execute project quality initiatives. The role involves implementing the Site-Specific Quality Plan (SSQP), analyzing quality issues, and coordinating with various stakeholders including owner representatives, EPC contractors, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project quality, knowledge of inverter, transformer, or lithium-ion battery operations, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Develop, execute, and review the SSQP and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) to meet contractual requirements.
2. Manage all project quality assurance activities, including audits, NCRs, and root cause analysis.
3. Lead lessons learned initiatives for continuous improvement.
4. Identify, document, and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
5. Support engineering, project execution, and O&M teams in resolving equipment problems and preventing performance issues.
6. Maintain and update the project quality management system according to ISO standards.
7. Promote a quality-focused culture emphasizing safety, continuous learning, and doing things right the first time.
8. Travel as required across various regions and work flexible hours.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Director.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in quality, engineering, project management, or related fields.
2. At least 3 years of experience in project quality, preferably in renewable energy or automotive sectors.
3. Proficiency in root cause analysis and driving corrective actions.
4. Hands-on experience with quality planning, assurance, control, and continuous improvement.
5. Knowledge of inverter, transformer, or lithium-ion battery manufacturing, operation, and maintenance.
6. Ability to build effective relationships with global teams and stakeholders.
7. Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
8. Results-driven with strong time management skills in a hybrid work environment.
