Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Executive / Business Development superstar to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, and a proven track record of exceeding targets. This position offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and fostering relationships with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation : Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling. Generate leads and qualify prospects to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client Acquisition : Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business opportunities. Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts to secure new accounts.
  • Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique shipping requirements and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Market Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities. Analyse market data to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams including operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless execution of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and revenue forecasts. Prepare regular reports and updates for management on sales performance and market insights.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics processes is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
