Status: Temporary, Full-Time (13 months)
Work Location: Hybrid, Vancouver B.C (a minimum of 2 days in office)

What we offer you

The starting salary ranges from $83,528 to $88,336 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Manager, Business Analyst, and under the guidance of a Project Manager, the Business Analyst I collaborates with subject matter experts to understand business needs, evaluate requirements, and design optimized processes. Responsibilities include creating documentation, defining solution scope, developing test plans, tracking defects, and supporting software releases through regression and end-to-end testing, including automation.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Collaborate with the project team to define solution scope, develop test plans, identify and track defects, and ensure traceability.
  2. Plan and conduct regression testing, support test automation, and monitor test results.
  3. Research and analyze business drivers, support business needs documentation, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration throughout project lifecycle.
  4. Develop business requirements documents, mock-ups, and process flowcharts for signoff and solution development.
  5. Create and manage product backlog items, lead grooming sessions, and ensure requirements are complete and clear.
  6. Set up solution acceptance criteria, validate outputs, and gather user feedback to ensure alignment with business needs.
  7. Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing, obtain sign-off, and support deployment.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field plus at least 3 years of recent experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, and CRM, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, requirements gathering tools, and process mapping.
  • Experience in visual thinking, process streamlining, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and basic data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple projects, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Assets include certifications (ECBA+, CCBA, CSM, CSPO), knowledge of Indigenous issues, and understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility.
