The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager for our Moncton team. If you have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, excel in fostering teamwork, and are ready to embrace the challenges of building a new team environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  1. Strategic Leadership: Oversee and lead complex construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals while driving initiatives for quality and excellence.
  2. Problem Solving: Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to manage solutions that keep projects on track and stakeholders satisfied, understanding the critical role of the Acadian team in project success.
  3. Goal-Oriented Management: Set clear objectives and motivate team members to achieve them in a challenging and collaborative environment.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to adopt new technologies and methodologies, fostering a culture of learning and constructive feedback within the team.
  5. Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of detail orientation in managing project timelines, budgets, and compliance with industry standards.
  6. Team Building: Play a pivotal role in developing a cohesive, high-performing team culture, mentoring team members and sharing best practices to achieve project success.
  7. The Acadian Way: Embrace and promote our defined processes of project management, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
Qualifications
  1. A diploma in Engineering Technology or a Bachelor in Engineering or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of project management experience in the construction industry.
  3. Strong oral and written skills in English.
  4. Proven track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management.
  5. Strong sense of urgency. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly to project needs and deadlines.
  6. Effective communication skills. Ability to collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  7. Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain detailed records.
  8. Proficiency in the MS Office suite and MS Project, with strong computer skills.
  9. Proficiency in French, both oral and written, is an asset but not required.
