Job Description

Education:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Work setting:

  • Private sector

Tasks:

  1. Implement new administrative procedures
  2. Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  3. Delegate work to office support staff
  4. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  5. Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  6. Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  7. Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  8. Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  9. Train staff
  10. Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
  11. Resolve conflict situations
  12. Coach staff
  13. Monitor and evaluate staff performance
  14. Oversee payroll administration
  15. Plan and control budget and expenditures
  16. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

  • Supervise 3-4 people
