Job description

Reporting to the Loan Servicing Officer, the Loan Servicing Clerk is primarily responsible for processing loan applications, generating initial and closing documents and disclosures. Maintains loan database in our core system and assists Lending department as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assemble mortgage loan files : run credit reports, generate all initial disclosures, closing papers, loan estimates and closing disclosures.
  • Prepare Consumer loans : credit reports and loan papers.
  • Perform daily transfer management function.
  • Prepare loan modifications.
  • Produce monthly reconciliation report.
  • Build all customer and loan profiles into core system as needed.
  • File paid off loan folders.
  • Monitor insurance policies and cancelations and implement force placed insurance as needed.
  • Monitor daily exception reports.
  • Prepare loan discharges as needed.
  • Mail and file AMI rate changes.
  • Assist in completion of annual HMDA reporting.
  • Disbursement of Real Estate Taxes and insurance as applicable.
  • Prepare Annual Escrow Analysis
  • Update FHLB base index daily, commitment list, and T-Bill weekly; WSJ Prime Rate and interest rate survey as needed.
  • Prepare collection letters from delinquency report as needed.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

  • Answers telephone and assists customer with routine inquiries.
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
