Significantly contribute to governance and control in the department (Global Banking, ALM Treasury, Functions).
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are updated, maintained, and their controls are implemented effectively.
- Work on Risk and Controls framework development, BAU assessments, and ensure compliance with Bank policies across all teams.
- Maintain audit readiness at all times; represent or assist the department during internal and external audits.
- Assist in centralizing incoming projects (Change the Bank) and manage team deliverables.
- Play a hands-on role and potentially assume Project Manager responsibilities for projects as needed.
- Lead transformation initiatives and process improvements to enhance quality, mitigate risks, and optimize costs.
- Contribute to budget preparation, and track invoices and expenses.
- Identify KPIs, develop dashboards, and generate reports for management and business insights.
- Ensure timely and meaningful reports and snapshots to support decision-making.
- Centralize governance, controls, projects, and reporting structures for maintainability.
- Assist in preparing materials for management committees and governance forums.
- Oversee IT continuity exercises and maintain records in line with controls.
- Implement Top-Down activities as instructed by ITP Management through the Client head of GB, ALMT, and Functions.
- Organize and monitor team activities with a focus on client service, simplicity, collaboration, and efficiency.
- Oversee and evaluate customer feedback to inform quality improvements.
- Possess experience in a Production support role.
- Have good knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks, including incident, change, problem, and release management.
- Experience in data gathering, report generation, and graph creation using tools like ServiceNow.
- Proficient in MS Office tools for reporting and presentations.
- Experience with data warehousing and reporting technologies.
- Possess good infrastructure knowledge, including Linux, Windows, Cloud computing, and architecture.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with users, IT, and stakeholders.
- Experience in the banking sector with an understanding of regulatory obligations is advantageous.
- Ability to take initiative, propose ideas, and see them through to completion.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive approach.
