Job Title: Production Support Analyst IT - Level 3
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (With Possibility of extensions)
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)
The Client Analyst ("Analyst") is responsible for the daily support and health of the production environment for multiple applications in the ALMT area. Tasks include change, user request, incident, and problem management for the department. Functional support and user setup may be performed as required. The Analyst shall serve on a team acting as the first point-of-contact (Level 1 and 2), receiving, recording, understanding issues, fixing known issues, suggesting improvements, routing unknown issues to Level 3 support staff, and communicating resolutions to the requestor. Assist the user community in resolving technical issues. Coverage during weekends and off-hours is on an "as needed" basis.
Level 1 and 2 Support
- Active monitoring of production activities
- Perform remediation steps when required
- Interface with external IT communities to resolve incidents
- Work with development community for Level 3 incident escalations
- Log work and effort in support tracking applications and collaborate with team and management to reduce recurring issues
- Available for after-hours support activities, when necessary
Change and Request Management
- Responsible for changes to the production environment for NAR applications
- Work with development team for release prioritization
- Ensure requests for change adhere to Group and Department Policies
- Available for after-hours and/or weekend change activities, when necessary
Reporting & Special Projects
- Participate in project elaboration phases to ensure the application production team is aware of upcoming changes and has the necessary skills for supporting changes post-release
- Report regularly to line manager for prioritization and escalation
- Conduct and participate in meetings with related communities
- Perform control result analysis and reporting, taking corrective actions as needed
- Take up project management responsibilities for special projects as required
Training and Occupational Experience
- Support role experience required (>5 years)
- Experience in Banking / Financial sector supporting trading systems
- Knowledge of FOREX, Money Market, Fixed Income products is a requirement
Essential Specific Requirements
- Database skills (Sybase, MS SQL, NoSQL)
- Unix/Linux hands-on experience with knowledge of daily commands
- Scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
- Scheduling tools (AutoSys)
- Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Kibana)
