What We Are Looking For
- Registered Block 3 or 4 Apprentice
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience working with PLCs is required
- Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
- Familiarity with basic functions of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP preferred)
- Proven ability to communicate effectively for problem-solving, coaching, and work planning

In This Role, You Will
- Follow all safety rules and occupational health and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Work from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and equipment specifications
- Repair and replace electrical and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, switches, PLCs, light curtains, and motor controls
- Calculate load requirements and select appropriate components
- Install new power supply lines in accordance with Hydro codes and standards
- Adhere to IEE wiring regulations, Electrical Safety Code, and company standards
- Wire control panels based on drawings and instructions
- Diagnose faults in electrical systems, including complex circuits
- Update electrical diagrams to reflect changes
- Work mainly on voltages up to 575V
- Maintain and optimize electrical equipment for performance
- Assist in managing electrical spare parts inventory
- Maintain work order and maintenance records
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Install and repair electrical components and wiring
- Test electrical and electronic equipment for safety and functionality
