You should be passionate and knowledgeable about:
- Electronics manufacturing - PCBA and mechanical assembly
- Industrialization
- New product introduction (NPI)
- Supplier management
- Manufacturing quality management
You should have experience in some or all of the following:
- Project management
- Lean manufacturing
- Working with contract electronics manufacturers
- Assessing manufacturing performance using figures of merit
- Automated testing and fixturing
- Supplier quality management
- Fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and distribution
- Customer service
- Manufacturing cost accounting
Responsibilities include:
- Introducing new offers from engineering into manufacturing
- Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers
- Managing production forecasts
- Setting up and managing downstream supply chain activities including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Continuously optimizing costs related to materials, labor, overhead, etc.
- Managing manufacturing and supply chain quality
- Managing supplier quality issues and corrective actions
- Handling customer quality issues, RMAs, and corrective actions
- Developing manufacturing processes to ensure high process capability and product quality
- Exploring cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities with suppliers
- Arranging engineering prototypes as needed
Experience requirements:
- Electronics manufacturing (5 years)
- Industrialization (5 years)
- New product introduction (5 years)
- Supplier management (5 years)
- Manufacturing quality management (5 years)
Language requirements:
- English: Professional proficiency
- French: Professional proficiency
Interview process:
The hiring process will consist of 3 interviews:
- 1st interview with HR - 20 mins via Google Meet - General discussion, interest confirmation
- 2nd interview with department head - 30 mins via Google Meet - Technical discussion
- 3rd interview with colleagues and supervisor - 1 hour on-site - In-depth technical discussion and office tour
