Summary of Responsibilities

Management Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities in the workshop.
  • Supervise and motivate the team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure training and development of workshop employees.
  • Manage conflicts, disciplinary actions, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Enforce and comply with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Mechanical Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose faults and malfunctions in machinery.
  • Adjust, repair, and replace parts and components.
  • Perform tests on repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Clean and carry out other maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Complete all required reports and forms.

Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing or construction industries.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanical technician.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French is mandatory.
