Account Executive - Commercial

As an Account Executive with Western Financial Group, you will use your insurance expertise to prospect and bring new clients to the organization, ensuring your customers have the coverage they need. This is a remote/hybrid work opportunity with paid licensing and training.

Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Prospect and up-sell to clients on all lines of business sold.
  • Consistently generate quality new business by networking and building centers of influence to ensure a steady stream of referral business.
  • Promote retention by building strong relationships and providing quality advice to prospects and customers for long-term sustainable growth.
  • Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications.
  • Meet and exceed sales and retention targets.
  • Collaborate with insurance company underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met.
  • Liaise between clients and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties.
  • Engage in continuous self-development through industry and community involvement, and industry-related courses.

The value you bring

  • General Insurance Level 2 required.
  • Previous Commercial Insurance experience is an asset.
  • A passion to help people protect what is most valuable to them.
  • A self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with unlimited earning potential through a mix of fixed and variable compensation.
  • Results-driven sales skills with excellent interpersonal abilities to actively seek out and engage customers.
  • Professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in facing challenges.

Hours: Full-time / 37.5 hours per week
