Job Purpose

This position reports to the Director of Sales, Vice President of Sales, or Branch Manager. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for driving all sales activities within assigned customer segments, acting as the primary face-to-face contact for network services, IT professional and managed services, and hardware-related IT products. The role involves managing customer relationships, identifying and closing key opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction and financial performance.

Essential Functions
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross profit targets within assigned segments. (50%)
  2. Lead the sales effort, coordinating with overlay sales and technical resources, focusing on new opportunities, protecting existing revenue, managing communication, and maintaining customer satisfaction. (30%)
  3. Maintain an accurate sales funnel and provide forecasts to management regarding network and IT services/solutions. (10%)
  4. Participate in account team reviews and strategy sessions to safeguard existing business and generate new revenue. (10%)
Experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience preferred, with prior training or experience in large or strategic account management. Experience in network services, IT professional and managed services, and hardware-related IT products is preferred.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a four-year college.

Special Knowledge/Skills

Consultative and solution selling, sales process planning, customer and product knowledge, self-management, business acumen, innovation, competitive knowledge, resource leadership, and resource management.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is CAD 89,000 per year, based in the Calgary office.
