Cosma International in Brampton is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop electrical schematics for major automotive projects. You will use EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD to size cables, select components, and produce BOMs for panel builds.

Requirements include 2 years with EPLAN P8, 2 years with an automotive OEM, and strong knowledge of the CEC/NEC. Proficiency in Excel and reading technical drawings is essential.

Formación

• 2 years of experience using EPLAN P8.
• 2 years of experience working for an automotive OEM.
• Good knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Controls Designers to prepare schematics for large automotive projects.
• Create electrical schematics using EPLAN P8 and/or AutoCAD.
• Size cables and circuit protection devices to meet local electrical codes.
• Produce BOMs containing all parts required for the panel build and the line build.
• Track revisions and update drawings as changes are made.
