Job summary

The Meat Depot in Etobicoke is seeking reliable DZ drivers to join our transportation team. The role involves safely delivering meat products across Windsor and surrounding towns with early mornings and long-distance routes.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, accurate delivery logs, and clear communication with dispatch. Valid Ontario DZ license and 5 years driving experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• 5 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Windsor and surrounding areas.
• Able to handle long shifts and early starts.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Operate DZ vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load and unload products (may require pallet jacks).
• Deliver on time to customers across designated routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and time records.
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams about delays or issues.
• Follow all company policies and food handling regulations.
