Join Wolseley Canada at the Yorkwest Woodbridge location as a DZ Boom Truck Driver, delivering materials to customer sites and branches with a focus on safety and service. You will load, secure, and transport items, maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer care.

The role requires a valid DZ license, boom crane certification, and 3+ years driving experience, with crane experience a plus. Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $29.00 hourly plus 4% PSP; benefits eligibility discussed during

Qualifications

• Valid Class DZ license required.
• Boom Truck Crane Operator Certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience.
• Minimum 2 years crane experience an asset.
• Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset.
• Clean driver’s abstract is required (No traffic tickets, no points, and no “at-fault” accidents within the last 3 years).
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified.

Responsabilités

• Transport material to and from customer sites between branches and other locations.
• Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route.
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a tight delivery schedule.
• Consolidate items and skids to maximize space in the truck using a pump truck.
• Strap and secure material so there is no damage during transport.
• Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites, other branches or warehouses.
• Obtain a signature of acknowledgment of delivery.

The Opportunity

Join the Yorkwest Woodbridge location as a DZ Boom Truck Driver, responsible for safely delivering materials to customer sites, branches, and warehouses. We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused professional with a valid DZ license, boom truck crane operator certification, strong driving experience, and the ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials while maintaining excellent service standards.

What you will do:

• Responsible for transporting material to and from customer sites between branches and other locations
• Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule
• Consolidate items and skids to maximize space in the truck using a pump truck to load material
• Strap and/or secures material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport
• Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites other branches or warehouses using the most effective itinerary or assigned itinerary
• Unload products according to the destination’s applicable rules
• Responsible for obtaining a signature of acknowledgment of delivery

What you will bring :

• Valid Class DZ license required
• Valid Boom Truck Crane Operator Certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience
• Minimum 2 years crane experience an asset
• Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset
• Clean driver’s abstract is required )No traffic tickets, no points, and no “at-fault” accidents within the last 3 years)
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must be dependent and reliable and willing to take initiative
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
• Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified
