Job summary

3166133 NS LTD based in Baddeck, NB is seeking a Food service supervisor to manage daily kitchen operations at 8250 Shore Rd, Baddeck, NS. The role is permanent full-time with day, night, weekend and shift work. LMIA approved and wages of $15.00 hourly for 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, handle scheduling, training, budgeting, ordering, and report generation while ensuring quality and safety standards in a busy food service environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language required or equivalent.
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Devise methods for meeting work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff on duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
• Hire food service personnel as needed.
• Ensure food service quality and safety standards.
• Prepare budgets and cost estimates.
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns.
• Track stock, repairs, sales and waste.
• Create and submit reports.
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
• Create work schedules.
