Job summary

Oxford Learning Edmonton North Glenora is seeking Part-time Teacher-Tutors to support Elementary and High School students in reading, writing, math, French, and science subjects. The role involves teaching up to 3 students at once, following our proven methodologies, and delivering regular progress updates.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree or teaching-related certification, strong English communication skills, and the ability to teach French.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Third-year university students with tutoring experience will be considered.
• Working towards or having a teaching certification is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete daily student communication updates and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour at all times.
