Qualifications

• Ontario College of Teachers certification in good standing.
• Commitment to character education and building a positive rapport with students.
• Experience working with students with IEPs is an asset.
• Excellent classroom management and ability to develop community in the classroom.
• Student-centered, technology-enabled approach to learning.
• Willingness to collaborate and grow professionally.
• Experience coaching athletics, arts, and outdoor education are assets

Responsabilités

• Provide on-call coverage for teachers absent from class using prepared lesson plans.
• Support students with learning skills needed to work through activities.
• Support students with course content in science and other subjects when possible.
• Use effective classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Conduct supervision duties as required.
• Deliver and supervise co-curricular programming (athletics, arts, service learning, outdoor education, clubs)
