Job summary
Grey Eagle Resort & Casino in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking energetic servers to join our fast-paced Food & Beverage team across the Bingo Hall, Buffet, Blaze Restaurant, Gaming Floor, and Hot Dog Cart. You will present menus, take orders, upsell items, and ensure guests have a positive dining experience.
Requires a high school diploma and Alberta Pro Serve, plus 1–2 years of server experience in a busy setting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Alberta Pro Serve certificate required.
- Experience with POS systems required.
- 1–2 years server experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service according to company standards.
- Take food and beverage orders and enter into POS system.
- Serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure tables are clean and ready for the next guest.
- Balance receipts at end of shift.
- Maintain inventory for front of house as needed.
- Adhere to all AGLC, casino, and applicable laws.
- Work collaboratively with FOH Manager and Supervisors.
- Attend required meetings and training.
