Job summary

Niagara Health in St. Catharines is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (RPT) to support inpatient units at Marotta Family Hospital. The role involves assessment, treatment and programming for patients and collaboration with the Communications Disorder's Assistant.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Registration with CASLPO
• VFSA experience an asset
• Experience with acquired communications and swallowing disorders; acute care experience preferred
• Meets professional practice standards per regulatory bodies
• Demonstrates effective customer service, organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and program for inpatient units
• Work in an acute care setting and program for a Communications Disorder's Assistant
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Perform duties to support department operations and patient flow
