Job summary

Designer Brands Canada in Whitby is seeking a Part-time Supervisor for our DSW banner to lead the store team, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive sales objectives.

You'll report to the Store Manager, coach staff, manage shifts, and uphold store standards in a fast-paced environment. The role offers flexible scheduling, a competitive hourly wage of $18.60, and opportunities for bonus potential and career growth.

Qualifications

• Prior retail supervisory experience in footwear is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Able to motivate a team and manage store operations.

• Maintains exceptional product knowledge and industry trend knowledge

• Coaches and provides feedback as directed by Store Management to achieve segment success
• Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.
• Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
• Open & closes the store proficiently

We’re looking for a (Part-time) Supervisor for our DSW banner who will put their best foot forward.

As a (Part-time) Supervisor, you will report to the Store Manager and assist in leading the store environment, which fosters inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will be responsible role model service standards coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, which includes in-store sales, web orders, goals as directed by the Store Manager. Your ability to thrive in a past pace environment, collaborate and execute on operational excellence will be key to your success in this role.

• Ability to assume a variety of scheduled shifts including closing shifts and weekends as required.
