Job summary

Cancade Restoration in Brandon, MB is seeking a reliable full-time Drywall Taper/Painter to perform residential repairs and renovations for insurance restoration. Must be neat, bondable, hold a Manitoba driver’s license, provide driving abstract and criminal record check. Bring own basic hand tools and steel-toe boots.

Will work on-call with possible overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments. Experience in mudding, taping, painting and carpentry is an asset; training and advancement

Qualifications

• Must be neat in appearance, bondable and hold a valid Manitoba driver's licence.
• You must provide us with a clean driver’s abstract and criminal record check at the time of hiring.
• Must have your own basic hand tools and steel toe boots.

Responsibilities

• On-call rotation with possible overtime, weekends and out-of-town work when required.
• Work well with others or independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a clean work area and clean up after every day.

The nature of our work is residential repairs/renovations for Insurance Restoration.

Must be neat in appearance, bondable and hold a valid Manitoba driver?s licence.You must provide us with a clean driver?s abstract and criminal record check at the time of hiring.

You will be put on an on-call rotation and must be available to work overtime, weekends and possibly out of town, when required.

Must work well with others as well as independently or with little supervision.Work in a clean environment and must clean up after yourself at the end of every day.

• Previous drywall mudding/taping/painter and carpentry skills an asset.
• Must be able to understand scopes of work and follow timelines.
• Must have your own basic hand tools and steel toe boots.
• Training and opportunities to advance available.

• Hang drywall/boarding, mud, tape, sand, prime & paint ? Start and take to finishing
• Paint, cut & roll trim work, doors, walls & ceilings
