Job summary

Century Drywall Ltd. in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Drywall Installer Supervisor to lead our drywall crew. This permanent, full-time role reports to the site leadership and is based at our Vancouver location.

The successful candidate will oversee scheduling, training, blueprints interpretation, and material coordination while ensuring safety standards are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in drywall installation supervision (2–3 years)
• Secondary school education required
• Knowledge of safety procedures and company policies

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers and projects, coordinate and schedule activities of the workers.
• Train workers or arrange for training in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Estimate cost and training
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate with other subcontractors
• Resolve work problems and improve productivity and product quality
• Prepare work progress reports and manage operations
• Schedule activities related to laborers and helpers
• Track and submit detailed reports for extra site work
• Ensure all safety precautions and safety standards are met

Salary: $41.25 hourly for 32 hours per week

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Education: Secondary school

Drywall Installer Supervisor (NOC 72014) will have to perform all of these duties:

• Supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities of the workers.
• Train workers or arrange for training of workers in job duties, safety procedures and also company policies
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Estimate cost and training
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other subcontractors
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• May have to recommend personal actions such as hiring and promotions
• Prepare work progress reports and manage the operations of the company
• Schedule the activities related to laborers and helpers
• Track and submit detailed report if any extra work performed on site.
• Ensure all safety precautions and safety standards are met.
