Job summary

Senior Helpers of Surrey North is urgently hiring for caregivers to support seniors in homes and facilities. If you have experience in assisted living, independent living, nursing homes or home care, we’d love for you to join our team.

This role focuses on compassionate, personalised care and enhancing quality of life for clients. We offer flexible scheduling, paid training and development, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
• Active BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry certificate or equivalent.
• Caring and compassionate with genuine desire to help others.
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living or nursing support a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and activities.
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying.
