Job summary

PartSource is hiring a Driver to deliver automotive parts to our commercial customers, ensuring timely and safe service with a strong focus on customer experience.

You will inspect vehicles daily, follow safety procedures, and assist in warehouse/retail areas while maintaining PPE standards and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
• Passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Comfortable sitting up to 8 hours per shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with PPE: safety shoes, glasses, vest, gloves, apron as required.
• Automotive parts aftermarket knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out customer deliveries and pickups of automotive parts using a company vehicle.
• Validate delivery accuracy by cross-checking part numbers with invoices.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report repairs to maintain safety.
• Support warehouse and retail areas while following loss prevention procedures.
• Uphold a safe work environment and PPE guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out customer deliveries and pickups of automotive parts using a company vehicle.
• Validate the accuracy of deliveries by cross-checking part numbers with customer invoices.
• Provide exceptional customer service through efficient and friendly delivery operations.
• Conduct daily inspections of company vehicles, reporting any necessary repairs to uphold safety standards.
• Follow the store's loss prevention procedures while assisting in warehouse and retail area organization.
• Uphold a safe work environment, including adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Act and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible shifts throughout the week, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of sitting for up to 8 hours per shift (in an automobile) and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with using protective equipment, including mandatory certified safety shoes (supplied upon hire), and as required, safety glasses, reflective safety vest, gloves, and apron.
• Knowledge and experience in automotive parts aftermarket is an asset.

Our typical hiring range is between $17.95 and $19.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
