PartSource, a division within Canadian Tire, is seeking a Driver in Oshawa to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers and support store operations. The role emphasizes customer service, safe driving, and accurate deliveries.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain PPE compliance, and assist with warehouse tasks while upholding PartSource standards and policies. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Formación

• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.

• Experience in automotive parts aftermarket is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and pick up automotive parts to commercial customers using a company vehicle.
• Verify deliveries by cross-checking part numbers with invoices.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery operations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report repairs to maintain safety.
• Assist in warehouse and retail area organization while following loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain PPE and safety standards including safety shoes, glasses, vest, gloves and apron.
• Comply with Motor Vehicle Safety Act and maintain a clean driving record.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out customer deliveries and pickups of automotive parts using a company vehicle.
• Validate the accuracy of deliveries by cross-checking part numbers with customer invoices.
• Provide exceptional customer service through efficient and friendly delivery operations.
• Conduct daily inspections of company vehicles, reporting any necessary repairs to uphold safety standards.
• Follow the store's loss prevention procedures while assisting in warehouse and retail area organization.
• Uphold a safe work environment, including adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Act and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and forging authentic connections.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
• Availability to work flexible shifts throughout the week, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of sitting for up to 8 hours per shift (in an automobile) and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with using protective equipment, including mandatory certified safety shoes (supplied upon hire), and as required, safety glasses, reflective safety vest, gloves, and apron.
• Knowledge and experience in automotive parts aftermarket is an asset.

Our typical hiring range is between $17.95 and $19.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
