Job summary

PartSource in Winnipeg is seeking a Driver to support timely, safe delivery of automotive parts to commercial customers. You will uphold PartSource brand integrity through high-level customer service and reliable, accurate deliveries.

This role includes daily vehicle inspections, adherence to safety PPE, and flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out customer deliveries and pickups of automotive parts using a company vehicle.
• Validate the accuracy of deliveries by cross-checking part numbers with customer invoices.
• Provide exceptional customer service through efficient and friendly delivery operations.
• Conduct daily inspections of company vehicles, reporting any necessary repairs to uphold safety standards.
• Follow the store's loss prevention procedures while assisting in warehouse and retail area organization.
• Uphold a safe work environment, including adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Act and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
• Availability to work flexible shifts throughout the week, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of sitting for up to 8 hours per shift (in an automobile) and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with using protective equipment, including mandatory certified safety shoes (supplied upon hire), and as required, safety glasses, reflective safety vest, gloves, and apron.
• Knowledge and experience in automotive parts aftermarket is an asset.

Our typical hiring range is between $16.40 and $19.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
