Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is seeking a Pick Up and Delivery Driver in Saskatoon to provide safe, efficient, prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and welding supplies. You will also pick up empties and support vehicle maintenance and loading procedures.

The role emphasizes a strong focus on safety, customer service, and adherence to regulations, with day shifts and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Valid class 3 license with air brakes and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of delivery experience.
• Customer service experience required.
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cylinder gases and welding supplies promptly and safely.
• Pickup empty cylinders as required.
• Load and unload trucks with the team, ensuring efficient loading per regulations.
• Plan daily routes, manage dispatch, and unload on return.

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives.

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.
• Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return.
• Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid class 3 license with air Brakes with a clean driver’s abstract
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry
• Customer service experience
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
