Job summary

Staples Canada in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a dependable delivery assistant to support the delivery of office supplies and furniture on assigned routes. You will provide customer service, resolve issues, and ensure paperwork is completed promptly as part of a fast-paced team.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and good navigation skills. A driver's license is an asset but not required; day shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted; experience using hand truck/dolly preferred.
• Able to navigate and read a map and use mobile Proof of Delivery devices.
• Proficient in customer service, verbal and written communication, problem solving, time management and organization.
• Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting under time constraints.
• A driver's license would be an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and accept returns from customers as per their requirements while obtaining signatures and completing all required paperwork.
• Address and resolve customer feedback and inform supervisor of outstanding issues.
• Engage in safe work practices and ensure cleanliness of vehicle is maintained.
• Interact daily with warehouse and transportation staff as well as customers.

Wage : $17.80 -$19.80

Some Of What You Will Do

Assist in the delivery of office supplies and furniture on assigned routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards. Provide customer service to customers by assisting with problem resolution as required.
