Job summary

Staples Canada in Gatineau is seeking a part-time Delivery Associate to support deliveries and basic furniture assembly. You will join a team that delivers to client sites, manage furniture placement, and perform light assembly when needed.

The role emphasizes safe driving, customer service, and professionalism while working with a friendly team. A valid license and ability to lift heavy loads are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively.
• Education: High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery truck (sharing the task with the other delivery driver).
• Deliver office furniture orders to the right locations.
• Assemble furniture (basic assembly) if necessary.

Shift time: Part-time (7am - end of deliveries / from Monday to Friday)

Wage: 21.70$/h (According to the experience)

Some Of The Tasks

• Drive the delivery truck (sharing the task with the other delivery driver);
• Deliver office furniture orders to the right locations;
• Assemble furniture (basic assembly) if necessary.

Some Of The Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract that has no \"major moving violations\" in accordance with applicable provincial law.
• Minimum age of 21
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively and unassisted
• Enjoy working on the road
• Provide excellent customer service
• Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy
• Be comfortable lifting heavy loads and assembling furniture (basic)
• Education: High school diploma.
