Job summary

Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) in Charlottetown, PE, is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Driver Helper for ADL West Royalty. You will assist the delivery driver with loading/unloading and securing loads for on-time deliveries on early start routes.

Start times range 4:30–7:00 AM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Wage is $19.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, virtual health, and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform repetitive lifting and manual work.
• Comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on role.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work early start times.
• Able to follow safety procedures and handling instructions.
• Willing to work as part of a team and take direction from the driver.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading products, manually or using basic handling equipment.
• Lift, carry, and stack products safely during deliveries.
• Help organize and secure products to prevent damage during transport.
• Support the driver during deliveries by assisting with unloading and product placement.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with customers.
• Work in varying temperature environments while following safe handling practices.

Position Overview

As a Driver Helper, you will work alongside a delivery driver to support daily delivery routes. Your role is to assist with loading and unloading products, lifting and carrying items, and helping ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on, physically active position suited for someone comfortable with manual work and early start times.

ADL West Royalty, Industrial Park, 50 4 St, Charlottetown, PE

Schedule

• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Start Time: Between 4:30AM - 7:00AM
• End Time: Between 12:00PM - 5:00PM
