Job summary

Trail Appliances is seeking a Driver Assistant to support our delivery team and help bring exceptional service to customers' homes. You will work alongside drivers to safely transport appliances while ensuring a positive customer experience and professional interactions throughout every delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, loading/unloading of large items, and maintaining a courteous, professional appearance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pass a security check and physical fitness assessment.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Safely maneuver merchandise over 100 lbs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous communication.
• Work five days per week, Monday–Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service during pickups and deliveries.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and minor hook-ups of large home appliances.
• Inspect merchandise before delivery and report any damages immediately.
• Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Support the delivery team in ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.

Availability

This is a full-time position and will require you to be available: Tuesday to Saturday from 7:30am to 6:30pm
