Job summary

Leon’s Furniture is seeking a self-motivated Full Time Delivery Driver in Canada to safely handle heavy cargo and deliver products to customers’ homes with a professional demeanor.

You will be responsible for loading and unloading, setting up items, removing packaging, and ensuring a positive overall customer experience while adhering to health and safety policies. A clean driving record and a 5-ton truck experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid non-probationary driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required).
• Experience delivering furniture/appliances is beneficial.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery truck carefully.
• Safely deliver products to customers' homes.
• Set up and assemble items.
• Remove packaging materials.
• Return approved merchandise.
• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient delivery service.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies.
• Collaborate with other departments for a great customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Carefully loading and unloading the delivery truck
• Safely delivering products into customers’ homes
• Set up and assembly of some items
• Removal of packaging materials
• Returning approved merchandise
• Providing professional, friendly and efficient delivery service
• Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. Requirements:

• Your clean driving record and valid non-probationary driver's license with experience driving a 5-ton truck (clean abstract required)
• Your ability to handle heavy goods and provide an efficient, safe and enjoyable delivery experience to our customers
• Your previous experience delivering furniture and appliances to customers’ homes (beneficial)
• Your positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills

Compensation:

$50,000 to $100,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).
