Job summary

Trail Appliances is hiring a Delivery Driver to provide prompt and courteous pickup and delivery service while maintaining excellent customer service. You will inspect and load products, assist with minor hookups as needed, and report any damages or issues for follow-up.

The role requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, a driving abstract, and the ability to safely handle merchandise over 100 lbs. A professional appearance and teamwork are essential for this family-owned retailer in Western

• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Meet eligibility requirements of our insurance policy.
• Must be able to safely maneuver merchandise over 100 lbs.

The Role

The Delivery Driver is to provide prompt and courteous pickup and delivery service while maintaining excellent customer service.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure prompt and courteous service on pickups and deliveries
• Inspect and load product; assisting with minor hook-ups if required
• Report damages, errors or actions requiring follow up attention
• Ensure all safety processes and procedures are adhered to

To be successful in this role you must

• Clear a security check
• Clear a physical fitness assessment
• Provide a valid Class 5 drivers license and acceptable drivers abstract (our insurance says you have to)
• Meet the eligibility requirements of our insurance policy
• Have the ability to safely maneuver merchandise more than 100lbs (our products are heavy)
• Have a professional appearance
• Enjoy working within a diverse team
• Communicate with internal and external contacts with tact, courtesy, and respect
