Job summary

Dooley’s Trucking is seeking a reliable courier/driver to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand in a fast-paced environment. You will operate cars and light trucks, maintain professional customer service, and relay information to dispatch while keeping accurate records of deliveries.

The role requires attention to detail, punctuality, and a commitment to safety, with 40-hour work weeks and standard driving duties at our Clarenville, NL operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
• Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver items.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Keep a record of items received and delivered.
• Load and unload goods.
• Record trip information such as mileage and fuel costs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections.
