Job summary

Autism Services in Canada is seeking a professional driver to operate vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver goods on a day-to-day basis. You will provide courteous customer service and relay information to dispatch while ensuring safety through routine inspections.

A valid Class 5/5F/G licence is required, and you will work on-road with a company vehicle. Benefits include health and dental coverage and a supportive team environment.

Job description

$17.00 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Tasks

• Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
• Professionalism in customer service
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Transport and handle dangerous goods
• Load and unload goods
• Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
