Job summary

Commonwealth Plywood Distribution is a full-line distributor of woodworking materials serving architects, designers and cabinetmakers since 1940. The driver role is full-time, day shift, Mon-Fri, with a 40-hour week and overtime at a higher rate.

Starting pay is 30$/hour with benefits; safety boots reimbursed yearly. Responsibilities include loading verifications, security rounds, unloading and delivering orders, obtaining receipts, and occasional forklift-assisted routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license Class 1 FM.
• Asset: forklift and Moffett cards; if not, assistance available.
• Experience in order fulfillment and safety on the job.
• Ability to work with curtain-sided trailers; good direction sense and GPS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Verify the truck's load.
• Conduct a security round.
• Unload and deliver customer orders; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Obtain customers' signatures for receipt of orders.
• Move light loads; some routes use a transportable forklift (Moffett).

Key responsibilities :

• Verify the truck's load
• Conduct a security round
• Unload and deliver customer orders; make people happy!
• Get customers' signatures for receipt of their order
• Move light loadsSome routes are done using a transportable forklift (Moffett) to unload orders.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Driver's license - Class 1 FM
• Asset: valid forklift and Moffett cards
• If not, we can help you get them!

• Concern for work well done, custom serviceand safety on the job

Work conditions:

• Full time, day shift only
• Monday to Friday schedule
• 40 hours, overtime at a higher rate after 40 hours
• 30-minute paid lunch break
• Salavy varies based on experience and starts at 30$/hour
