Job summary

Uni-Select’s Bumper to Bumper store in Victoria, BC is seeking a Driver to join a dynamic team. You will prepare and deliver orders, verify invoices, and assist with parts pickup, while maintaining delivery accuracy and customer sign-off.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits and employee discounts are offered. Training on the latest auto parts technologies is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery and verify invoices.
• Examine delivery condition with customer and obtain sign-off.
• Organize daily pick-up of cores, returns and warranties.
• Record deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork and adherence to service strategies.
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards.
• Report customer complaints to Dispatcher or Store Manager promptly.
• Check vehicle fluid levels and tire condition; keep vehicle clean.
• Follow all traffic rules and regulations at all times.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher/Store Manager on progress and delays.
• Support store operations and shelf-stocking as needed.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders
• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory
• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
