Job summary

Bumper To Bumper Auto Parts in West Kelowna, BC is seeking a Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering orders, verifying invoices, and ensuring accurate paperwork for cores, returns, and warranties. You will also assist with customer service and help keep the store orderly.

No prior experience is required; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential. You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices for accuracy.
• Examine condition of merchandise at delivery and obtain customer sign-off.
• Organize daily pick-up of cores, returns and warranties without delaying delivery.
• Record all deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork for cores, returns and warranties.
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards.
• Report customer complaints to the Dispatcher or Store Manager immediately.
• Check vehicle daily fluids and tires and maintain cleanliness.
• Comply with road rules at all times.
• Check in with Dispatcher/Store Manager on progress or delays.
• Participate in cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Assist with customer service activities and keep the store neat and stocked.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders
• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory
• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
